Set privacy controls
Your profile status puts you in control of who can see your profile. There are two options: inactive and active.
Inactive
Employers cannot see your profile. You will not appear in matches for roles.
Active
Employers can match with your anonymized profile. Employers on a paid plan who accept a match with you may view your de-anonymized profile.
To change your profile's status, select Active/Inactive on your Profile Page.
Inactive
The default status for all profiles is inactive. Inactive profiles allow you to anonymously match with job postings that meet your preferences. Companies cannot see your profile or contact you.
Active
Active profiles allow employers to match with you and review your anonymized profile.
Employers you match with will have the opportunity to assess your anonymized profile to confirm your skills, experience and education are a good fit for their role.
Employers on a paid plan who accept a match with you may view your de-anonymized profile and contact you.

Other sharing options
We’re committed to helping employers hire in a more inclusive way. Part of that commitment includes asking candidates to share demographic information so we can help employers understand and build their pipeline.
Self identifying is completely optional, and we'll handle your information with care. Your responses to age, gender and ethnicity will not be displayed on your profile. Displaying your pronouns, military status and refugee/internally displaced person status is optional.
