Active profile matches
What is a match?
A match is a curated introduction between top talent like you and employers with exciting professional opportunities.
Obligations with a match
A match is simply a warm introduction. It may be helpful to think of this as the first step of the recruiting process. While we hope each match will lead to something more, the decision to proceed further in the recruiting process is left to each candidate and the employer they match with.
After a match has been made, it is the employer's responsibility to contact you. As a courtesy to the employer you match with and to help us maintain an effective matchmaking platform, we expect you to engage respectfully with any match.
Not interested in a particular match? Please let the match know and consider updating your profile to make future matches more accurate. Users with a pattern of not responding to matches may be asked to leave the platform.
How matching works
You tell us what you're looking for in an employer and role by completing your Profile. We use the information you provide to identify only the opportunities that meet your criteria.
We believe in quality over quantity of matches. A good match should feel like discovering you've already got so much in common with the employer you just met. To create that experience we mask the information you share to protect your privacy and we share your anonymized profile only with employers who meet your preferences. Employers have the opportunity to assess the anonymized profile to confirm the skills, experience and education are a good fit for the role. When an employer accepts a match, we lift the veil and share your name and contact information.
How long it takes to find a match depends on how strict your preferences are. Actively seeking a job and haven't matched yet? Consider adjusting your preferences to cast a wider net.
After a match is made
When an employer accepts a match you will receive an email sharing the employer's name, the title of the role and the employer's contact information. You may also find all of your matches in the scouting report section of the Matches Tab of your Profile.
Employers have three days from the time they accept a match to contact you. Most of our employers are excited to contact their new match right away.
We recommend using the initial conversation with a match to set expectations around where you are in the job search process and understand the employer's hiring timeline.
With limited exceptions, a match will time-out if an employer fails to contact you during the three day window. Matches that time-out will no longer appear in the Scouting Report section of your Profile.
Providing feedback
After every match we request feedback on the interaction from you and the employer you matched with. Candidates and employers who consistently receive poor feedback may be asked to leave the platform.
Didn't receive a feedback request after a recent interaction? Please email us with subject "Feedback".
